Riding her horse

Image
It's been fun taking her to horse therapy on Wednesdays. The past 2 weeks I've left the younger two with family so I could just concentrate on watching EK. Or at least not worry about what AK was getting into... Love this pic of EK with her teacher Ms. Lisa Sitting up nice and tall on Pi The past couple lessons they let her ride around the track a couple times by herself (with assistance on the side). I'm hoping she'll be able to do more and more of this. It's good for her to have to sit up tall by herself.

Playdate and Swim lessons

One of the good things that came out of our canceled Baltimore trip was seeing some out of town friends. :) Jeff and Dawn were some of our closest friends when they were at FBC Keller. They are now in MS and we just don't get to see them often enough. Our friend Nina was able to come over too. Not sure how much we really got to talk when you have 7 kids around. ;) However, it was still a blessing to spend time with these two ladies. Two of mine were very interested in the ipad, even it was just watching. :) Nina, me and Dawn Dawn's sweet girl and Nina's youngest. Aren't they both beautiful? The week after VBS we had swim lessons with a friend from church. Sarah is an AWESOME teacher! She even taught AK and her son who's AK's age. This is what they did while Ms. Sarah worked with AC. Jumped off the side onto the ledge...over and over and over again. :) AC loved every day and is really doing well! So proud of her! :)

Catching up on pictures

I knew I needed to upload pictures from my camera, but I didn't realize it had been since MAY! Oops! So now, here are a lot. :) First up: Mimi's birthday on Memorial Day Cousin C AK with cousin RL Singing "Happy Birthday" to Mimi. What a good sport to wear the silly glasses. :) Love that these two are starting to play together more. Of course, it goes from good to ugly quickly right now. Working on that... Sweet boy was sick the end of May. He was much better the next day, but it was a big deal for him to fall asleep on the floor around 7pm. Big girl lost another tooth on top the end of May. "All I want for Christmas..." Last day of school for EK was on June 5th. AC ran downstairs to give her a hug before she got on the bus. :) This was the closest we got to our plane ride to Baltimore. Got tickets, checked luggage, went through security, ate lunch and then found out our flight was canceled. :( AK thought it was neat to se...

Summer is moving along...

Wow, I can't believe my last post was almost a month ago. I have several videos I would love to post on here, but I can't figure out how to get them from my phone to this site. Kind of frustrating b/c it used to be easy. :(  We've been trying to stay busy while also having some down-time. A few weeks ago, the church staff went to a Ranger game. It was AK's first and he did pretty well. Sad to say our TX Rangers are not doing very well this season. Regardless, it was fun to be with friends and eat hot dogs, nachos and cotton candy. :) The 2nd week of June we had VBS at church. This was AC's first "official" year to go. She's gone for years now but only b/c I was working. She got to sing the theme song on Family Night with the other kids who had completed grades K-4. It's hard to see here, but she is on the bottom row with a black long sleeve shirt. (Next to the boy with a yellow striped shirt.) She had a great week with one of her best f...
