I don't want to forget....

Keith's parents celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sunday, June 25th. We had a come and go reception for them at the church that afternoon. My sister in law and I planned it all over texts/email and it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. Laura was a huge help and I couldn't have done it without her! My inlaws enjoyed it so I'd say it was a success. My kids loved having their cousins in town for the weekend. 4th grade graduation My girl and me EK started riding the bus in Kindergarten and had the same bus driver and aide for 6 years. We are going to miss Ms. Yanty  and Mr. Jarrell. This man teased EK almost daily and she really liked him. Two of EK's first teachers ever...Ms. Colleen and Ms. Beth. They had her when she was only 3 years old. Ms. Tammey came to EK's class last year and that was so fun. Ms. Kim was with EK the longest. She started with EK in Kindergarten. :) Ms. Flood, how thankful we are for this lady (and that we get to see her at church on Sundays). Ms. Flood was so good about high expectations with EK and being kind but firm. EK really likes Ms. Flood! I was a little nervous for a few weeks about where EK was going for int...

These pictures aren't great but I was playing with my camera settings and didn't want to use the flash. It would've helped to have a little more light coming in the through the windows.  But these girls were playing so well together and EK loved the attention, so I am sharing. 

Can you see the spunk in her eyes? This girl...sweetest thing at times and other times, super strong-willed. :) She loves music and wants to do anything her olders siblings are doing. She typically only wants to be held when she can tell I need to be doing other things, like get dinner ready. ;) She's putting several words together at a time and we understand her about 70 % of the time. She loves to eat, hates to take naps (although she really still needs them) and loves to play with playdough and color. She loves to be on the go, but isn't a good shopper, unless I let her watch something on my phone.  Look her her little fingers. :)

AK's last day of preschool was May 18th. This boy has grown up a lot. I'm so glad we decided to let him be the oldest in his grade. He had great teachers this year and we're ready for kindergarten. We're planning to home school although he keeps mentioning that he's going to big school. He just started reading a little and it's so fun to see it "click". His favorite thing about preschool was playing outside. (Such a boy!)   Last year, he was so nervous for his programs. This year, he was confident and excited to perform. He really has a fun personality and while some might not always appreciate it, his teachers enjoyed having him. We're grateful for all the teachers who have invested in the past two years. :) EJ starts in the fall. Hope they are ready for Sanders #4...

AC had a violin recital a few weeks ago. She played Hunter's Chorus from her Suzuki book. She's decided to take a break from violin and wants to take piano lessons this coming fall. While I'm a little sad (b/c she's doing really well on violin), I'm excited she wants to learn more piano too. I've taught her the past couple years, but it's been really inconsistent with school and violin. She'll be taking piano at the Fine Arts Academy at church (FBC Keller). It'll be good to have a teacher other than mom. :) \ She got a medal for receiving a 98 on her theory test in February and she received an award for having the highest violin score in her age group for the solo festival in April. Great job AC! We are very proud of you and all your hard work!
