Christmas
Christmas break was 2 weeks long and with all three kids at home all day, I didn't get many extras done. (Besides clothing and feeding kids, changing diapers, cleaning up after kids, etc.)
EK and AC went back to school last Thursday and it was a nice break to just have little man. He is a handful in and of himself! :)
Anyway, here are some pictures of our Christmas! It was so nice to stay here AND enjoy time with family!
Here's AK on Christmas morning!
We always read the Christmas story from Luke 2 before we open presents. Since AC had memorized it, she read it to us from the Bible. :)
I knew AK would have fun opening presents this year. Just stocking goodies made him happy. :)
After stocking presents, Grandma and PaPaw came over for breakfast. It's tradition in our house to have monkey bread and sausage egg casserole for breakfast. Yum!! While we ate, AK took a nap. He was getting over a double ear infection and needed sleep. Poor boy!
Then it was time to open presents.
AC and Grandma (with her new Cinderella doll)
Here's a happy one of EK. She wasn't really into opening gifts, but was at least happy. :)
The dollhouse that Mommy and Daddy put together on Christmas morning. The Christmas miracle! Miracle that we still had a happy day afterward. :)
Super fun surprise! It snowed on Christmas!!! YAH! AC was so excited! :)
AK likes the dollhouse too. He got stuck once or twice. What a mess that boy is!
Later that afternoon we went to my parents. We opened gifts and then had dinner. Notice all the stockings? I found a picture the other day of Christmas Eve 2002. It was just me and my 3 siblings and Keith. My, how things have changed! Seven grandbabies later...
Uncle Steven and AC
Someday we need to attempt a big Hoyer family picture. It's been a long time since we've taken one.
Keith's parents came over to my parents for dinner. It was a great day with family! And we got to sleep in our own beds that night! :)
