VACATION 2016 (part 2)
We rode the train from Durango to Silverton on Saturday morning with the Barkers. Keith and EK drove up to Silverton to meet us and bring us back to the condo. It was a fun train ride but it's long when you have an almost 18 month old. (3 1/2 hours) The scenery is beautiful though. I need to get a few pictures off my phone. So pretty!!
Sunday morning we left Durango to head up toward Montana. We spent Sunday night in Ogden, UT and got there early enough to eat dinner in the room and the middles got to go swimming. Keith's idea was brilliant because everyone was asleep by 9:30 that night. :)
These girls were so happy to be out of the van! :)
On our way to MT we could see the Grand Tetons in the distance. We didn't have time to add that to our trip this time.
We went to MT via Yellowstone National Park. I hope we get to go back in a few years when we have more time to spend there and the kids are big enough to hike around a little. There were a lot of people there as well. I guess that's typical for summer.
Yellowstone Falls
We got to our cabin really late Monday night and were so thankful to finally be there!
